We are making an effort to work with the community to ensure local food security. We are establishing a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program which we intend to grow into a full share (farm share) box over the coming seasons.
You can secure locally grown produce ensuring quality fruits and vegetables for your family, minimizing negative environmental impacts, all while helping sustain a local farm. Keeping your hard-earned money within the local community and ensuring availability of secure food sources now and in the future.
Our intent for 2025 is to establish a produce pre-purchase program to run from the first weekend in August through to the last weekend in October (13wks). This will include weekly access to apples and/or a selection of various pears, plums, and vegetables.
You pay in the spring (30 Apr 2025+) in order to secure produce at harvest time. This supports us in getting the season started on the right path and helping you get the best produce for your family at harvest.
There will be two tiers to this program we are calling the half peck and the full peck.

In each program we will have a weekly share made up of a mix of fruits and vegetables depending on availability (minimum you will get tier value in that week’s apples). There will also be the option to mix and match any produce (incl. eggs), which is available in the Old Huntley Orchard Farm Shop*.
The program will also include specials throughout the year such as:
- Discounts on premium apple varieties;
- Priority access to special/limited apple varieties (e.g. Gravenstein, Cox Orange Pippin, etc.);
- Special product discounts;
- Early access to new products; and
- On farm program member only specials.
Additionally, as our CSA grows customers who have supported this initiative from the beginning will be prioritized and eligible for discounts on future farms share programs (CSAs)**.
- A news letter will be included as part of this program to provide updates/details throughout the season;
- This type of program comes with inherent risk based on natural cycles produce availability may be limited;
- Weekly selection is based on availability and the minimum share (half or full peck) will be at the discretion of Old Huntley Orchard;
- Weeks end Sunday (e.g. 3, 10, 17, … Aug);
- Missed weeks without notice cannot be transferred or accumulated; and
- Advance notice of missed weeks can be accumulated to a maximum of two (2) weeks.
- Produce availability for mix and match will be on a first come first served basis;
- Specials and priority access events will be announced throughout the season and are on a first come first served basis; and
- Terms are subject to change which will be communicated via news letter.

– Payment by credit card can only be done in person at the Farm Shop.
*Program is only available at the Old Huntley Orchard farm shop (4625 Carp Rd);
– Apple only pick-ups can be arranged in advance at local markets attended by Old Huntley Orchard.
**Discounts only for customers who have maintained pre-purchases from 2025 and will be factored based on program level.
