Welcome to Old Huntley Orchard,
where we have been nurturing the land, growing fresh produce, and brining the harvest to life since 2022.
We are a small Orchard and Farm located west of Ottawa in the beautiful Carp Valley.
We are growing a variety of delicious Apples, Pears, Plums, and Vegetables.
We are not a pick your own orchard.
In addition to our produce we have cider, locally prepared food, products, gifts and more.
Old Huntley Orchard
Is a vibrant, high-density orchard nestled on 3.5 productive acres just outside the village of Carp. We grow over
30 varieties of apples, plums, and pears using sustainable, modern orchard practices that maximize productivity in a small footprint. Alongside the orchard, our market garden produces a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, harvested fresh throughout the growing season.
Our Mission
To provide fresh, nutritious food grown in a sustainable way to our community and contribute to local food security.

Our Story
The orchard was purchased in December 2022 by Samantha and Curtis, who were looking to leave the city behind and create a life rooted in nature. With a vision of raising their children surrounded by fresh air, green space, and meaningful work, they set out to build a farm that nourishes both their family and their community.
We are are excited to build on what Harvest Moon Orchard had accomplished, forging a new path forward for our family. We look forward to becoming engrained in the community and providing locally grown produce. From our family to yours.
What’s in a name?
We selected the name Old Huntley Orchard to highlight the connection to the area’s history, as the Orchard is located in what used to be Huntley Township. We felt a connection to the rich past of Huntley Township and the Carp area was very important. We look forward to building a history of our own in the Carp Valley.

Growth with us
We look forward to continuing to grow our farm and our knowledge to help ensure local food security. The support and trust provided to us by local families motivates us to continue to grow the best produce, and to continue to grow and strengthen our community.
You can find us at at our Farm Shop and local farmers’ markets where we share our harvest directly with the community and connect with customers who value fresh, locally grown food.
We also offer a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, where members receive a share of our harvest filled with fresh fruits and vegetables grown right here on the farm.
We’d be happy to hear from you.
Reach out if you have any questions, or stop by the farm for a chat.
